Certified Guided Meditations Leader

Teach a course featuring guided meditations, designed especially for new meditators.

While guided meditations are popular, they often leave students in a quasi-nap experience. But the goal is Consciousness, not unconsciousness! Learn how to bring your students from that starting point to deeper and more powerful inner experiences. Your new course is very accessible for beginners, yet it moves them into silent meditations within four class meetings.

This certification utilizes important skills you have already learned in your prerequisite courses and takes you to the next step. Here, you refine your ability to effectively lead others into a deeper inner state and develop their understanding of it.  Work with them inside their comfort zone, to take them to a new level.  You will be able to support and guide them all the way, as they discover the inner infinity that is the goal of yoga. 

Your training is all online. Meeting 16 weeks for 2-hour classes, it includes DTS (Develop Your Teaching Skills), which is interwoven throughout. You also attend concurrent programs with an Ashram Swami during your 16 weeks, which are free:  3 Troubleshooting Your Meditation programs and 5 Yoga Philosophy Discussion Groups*.  These programs cultivate your ability to listen, supporting people as they go through their process.

Their process is individual, yet predictable.  It's like a child grows teeth at a certain age, yet every single one of them needs support in the process. You learn how to "place your ears on your heart," so they are heard in a whole new way, while the meditative process is moving them toward wholeness.
